The distinctive event venue offers indoor and outdoor
wedding reception options including an atrium that is
available year round, so guests can comfortably enjoy the
beauty of any of Chicago's seasons during a wedding
reception. In addition to modern climate control, the
atrium has tile flooring, an elegant wooden dance floor,
state of the art lighting and WiFi.

Along with a deep and entertaining history,
Danada House also boasts one of the most beautiful views available to an outdoor wedding venue near Chicago. In 1980, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County purchased the home built by the Rice's and
the 780 surrounding acres it sits on, including its out buildings and a 23 stall Kentucky style stable. As a neighbor to Danada House, the active forest preserve is also home to the Danada Equestrian Center and a 35 acre prairie restoration initiative.

Originally constructed in 1927 and lovingly restored to its historic splendor in 2016, this beautiful structure provides a singular backdrop for saying your “I do’s.” Imagine exchanging your vows just outside the Boathouse on a picturesque lake shore, the surrounding flora only complementing this gorgeous ceremony site. The large deck located on the Boathouse’s east side provides breathtaking views of the lake, as well as the resident wildlife. The Lodge at Katherine Legge Memorial Park is surrounded by 52 acres of beautifully appointed parkland. It’s a charming example of an era gone by. Built in 1927 and designed by R. Harold Zook, one of the most renowned residential architects in the western suburbs, The Lodge exudes grace and elegance. It is as versatile as it is engaging, welcoming a variety of special events and occasions from weddings and social functions to corporate meetings and retreats. The first floor of the English-style building is alive with character, providing a spacious living room with a fireplace, a piano, dining room, kitchen, alcove, and access to the beautiful patios and surrounding grounds that may be used for outdoor event space.
